Wedding Date 26.10.18
How did you meet?
Through friends at a Christmas party in 2013. I had only lived in Sydney for 2 months by this time.
Who proposed and how?
Just after Christmas in 2017. We were spending Christmas with family in Perth and had a day trip organised to Rottenest Island. We’d been swimming, snorkelling and cycling all day and then Duncan found a quiet little private beach on the west side of the island. Apart from some sneaky lizards trying to distract us, it was a beautiful private moment. We were both in tears and fits of laughter!
Best. Honeymoon. Ever. We had a 2 month adventure honeymoon and visited Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Bolivia, Easter Island, Tahiti & Bora Bora!
your wedding dress shopping experience:
About 6 shops and 40 different dresses! I had some ideas of styles but hadn’t found one that was totally right. I was looking for something simple but with a bit of wow and was keen to see the Pronovias collection at Marry Me Bridal. Obviously they totally delivered and found the perfect dress. I had my mum and a couple of friends with me that day and everyone was in tears so we knew that was the one. I actually didn’t even pick the dress, my friend did and I remember saying something like “yeah fine I’ll try it on”... Then of course we went out for lunch and champagne afterwards!!
