Wedding Date 15.09.18

How did you meet?

We went to school together; were in the same friends group for some time and then one day just clicked. We became close really quickly and have been together for 7 years now.

Who proposed and how?

We went to Hawaii for a holiday and on one of our first nights James took me for a walk before dinner and proposed on the beach. We had talked about marriage but didn’t expect it on the holiday so it was a beautiful surprise after what had been a wonderful day.

Honeymoon Destination:

We had three weeks between Thailand and Vietnam. It was the perfect location for our honeymoon to celebrate our marriage, unwind, relax and enjoy the delicious food and culture.

your wedding dress shopping experience:

We had spent a day in the city going to a number of the larger wedding shops which with so many options was overwhelming.

We then went to Marry Me Bridal on a Monday morning and the whole experience was wonderful. I couldn’t decide on the style as I seemed to like everything but then tried my Pronovias gown on and it was just perfect. I loved the smaller details of the beading, the lace, and the way it hugged my figure.

Photographer: The Paper Fox; she was just incredible and created our wedding video too. She captured every little detail, every smile, moment of laughter, embrace and was a beautiful person to have shared our day with.

Accessories: My grandmothers engagement ring which was a beautiful ring and sentimental as she wasn’t able to be there on the day.

Shoes: Badgley Mischka- the most amazing pair of shoes I have ever worn. They were perfect and so beautiful.

Fragrance: Versace “Bright Crystal”

Venue: Melross Barn at Kangaroo Valley

Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist: Chloe Grace Hair and Make Up- she is amazing!!

Florist: The Posy Garden.

Cody from The Posy Garden ran a class with us the day before where we were able to create our own bouquet using a selection of flora. It was a lovely way to all come together while setting up the venue and create our own bouquets that were uniquely made.

Bridesmaids: Dresses from ASOS- they were just what I was looking for.
